11 (Big Sur) or later, Apple Silicon or Intel; pairing Companion needs macOS 13
Windows
Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit; the installer is about 30 MB
Storage
About 100 MB on a Mac; each on-device AI model is a separate 2.5 to 5.7 GB download
Memory
8 GB is enough for the smaller AI models; 16 GB is recommended for the larger ones

Sightline runs on your own machine and keeps student records local. The on-device AI is optional and downloads separately after install.
